2. Three Lopsided Dances, a new orchestral work, was premiered by the Texas Music Festival Orchestra, Franz Krager, conducting, on June 7th. Listen to the first movement of the piece below...

3. To Light was premiered at the Marion Koogler McNay Museum for it's reopening and the dedication of the Jane and Arthur Stieren Center for Exhibitions on June 7th.
NEWS! To Light was one of the seven brass fanfares selected by the Dallas Wind Symphony (out of more than 120 submitted) as part of their 9th Annual DWS Brass Fanfare Competition. It will preformed before their April 8, 2009 concert. For more click here.

4. The Golden Ax, a one-act opera, premiered at the Cactus Pear Music Festival July 18-20, 2008 (Fredricksburg, Boerne, and San Antonio, Texas).
